WHY WE EXIST
THE LOVE NEVER
WENT ANYWHERE.
Street Fighter EX has always been special to us. The characters, soundtracks, combos and 3D polygon goodness are part of why we keep coming back almost 30 years later. Seeing other people still care about EX too has been genuinely special.
But that love has often been hard to find. The scene has been scattered across old uploads, small communities and ageing PlayStation hardware, while EX never received the same visible modern revival as many other classic fighting games. Along the way, the series picked up a reputation that can hide how much fun and depth is actually here.
We see the hype, the joy and the amount of tech still waiting to be explored. SFEXOnline exists to make that easier to find, share and enjoy.

People were playing, uploading, preserving, drawing, sharing tech and talking about Street Fighter EX long before SFEXOnline existed. We want to recognise that history, credit people properly and give their work somewhere easier to discover.
Our job is to connect the scattered pieces, document what is happening now and make the door into EX easier to find for whoever comes next.
